Set a monthly spend limit
Every account can set a monthly credit card spend cap. The maximum is £250/month as required by the DCMS voluntary code; you can set it lower. Decreases are instant; increases require a 24-hour cooling-off period.
Self-exclude
If you need a break, you can self-exclude your account for a minimum of 6 months from your account dashboard. Self-exclusion is irreversible during the period set.
Warning signs to watch for
- Entering more than you can comfortably afford to lose.
- Chasing losses by entering more draws.
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or low after a draw result.
- Hiding the extent of your play from friends or family.
